Gaeamsa Temple was established in the kingdom of Baekje in 634, renovated in 676 by the two great Silla Buddhist monks Wonhyo (617-686) and Uisang (625-702), and enlarged into a major monastery of Goryeo (918-1392) in 1276,

Chaeseokgang is a 1.5 km-long sea cliff formed between Gyeokpo Port and Gyeopo Beach in Byeonsan Peninsula. The well-developed sedimentary layer of rocks looks like a stack of books.

There are several waterfalls on the Byeonsan Peninsula, but this one is the largest of them. It is located at the upper stream of Bonrae Valley, Naebyeonsan Mountain. The water forms Jiksocheon Stream, which flows northward, and then into Baekcheon Stream. Jiksopokpo Falls is about 30 m high and 2 m wide. The puddle down below

Buan Indoor Gymnasium provides residents of Buan County with indoor spaces for various sporting activities shielded from the elements. As it serves as a venue for a wide range of indoors events, the gymnasium contributes to improving the image and economic development of Buan region.

Byeonsan Beach is one of the oldest beaches in Korea and one of the three major beaches in the West Sea region along with Daecheon Beach and... Mallipo Beach. It is part of Byeonsanbando National Park, and is also called Baeksacheongsong Beach due to its white sand (baeksa) and green pine forest (cheongsong).

It is a stone pole that used to be worshipped as the guardian deity of the walled town of Bupung-hyeon in the south gate of Buan-eup.
