- Sono Belle Byeonsan was formerly called Daemyung Resort Byeonsan and opened on July 24, 2008. When Daemyung Hotels & Resorts changed its corporate name to Sono Hotels & Resorts as part of its global strategy in September 2019, Daemyung Resort Byeonsan was renamed into Sono Belle Byeonsan. The Italian name “Sono Belle” refers to a fine or beautiful place.

The resort provides various meeting halls for workshops and conferences and a chapel for wedding ceremonies, as well as halls for religious purposes on holidays. About a 10-minute walk away is the Gyeokpo Intercity Bus Terminal, making it easily accessible by public transportation. In front of Sono Belle Byeonsan is Gyeokpo Beach, and nearby are many tourist attractions unique to Buan and the western coast including the Jeokbyeokgang Cliffed Coast, Suseongdang Shrine, Gyeokpo Port, and Jeolla Jwasuyeong (Left Naval Headquarters) Filming Location.
